Friday Night Dialogue: Victoria Shorr Author Talk & Book Signing Friday, July 24th, 4:00 pm at St. Mary’s Church
Victoria Shorr’s novel Fatherland, is about a 1950s Midwestern family's unraveling after the father, Martin Brier, abandons his wife Lora and their three children for a mistress, focusing on the emotional fallout, particularly for their daughter Josie, as she navigates decades of family deception, broken promises, and her complex relationship with her absent father.
This program will take place in person at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 26 St. Mary’s Road.
