Shelter Island Library Book Club
Tuesday, November 18th, 4:00 pm (at the Shelter Island History Museum - 16 South Ferry Road)

The Shelter Island Book Club, led by Suzanne Louer, reads fiction and nonfiction, with an emphasis on well-regarded contemporary fiction.

Enter the glittering, cutthroat world of Gilded Age New York. Based on the true story of Arabella Huntington, this riveting biographical novel follows her journey from poverty in post–Civil War Virginia to the heights of society. Scandal, ambition, and reinvention collide in one woman’s breathtaking rise to power.

This program will take place at the Shelter Island History Museum, 16 South Ferry Road.
