VIRTUAL AUTHOR TALK SERIES
November Series

Thanks to the Friends of the Library, we have recently subscribed to the Library Speaker Consortium. Each month we will be providing a series of virtual Author Talks. Books and authors selected will cover a wide range of fiction and non-fiction genres including historical fiction, contemporary fiction, romance, poetry, business, personal growth, social justice, history, art, culture and more! These are live events with interactive Q&A sessions where participants can ask questions directly to the author.

FRIENDS OF THE SHELTER ISLAND LIBRARY TURKEY PLUNGE!
Saturday, November 30th, 11:00 am - Crescent Beach (Rain, Snow, or Shine)

It’s time to take the plunge! The annual Friends of the Shelter Island Library Turkey Plunge will take place on Saturday, November 30th, 11:00 am at Crescent Beach, rain, snow, or shine!

You can register in person at the library or by clicking here to be taken to the online registration and payment form.

Registration Fee is $25.00 prior to the 25th, and $30.00 on the day of the Plunge.
